Super fun tour with Lien and her lady riders! 🙂 Since we are Deaf, we really appreciate being able to do a tour in sign language as Lien knows sign language and introduced us to other Deaf people. The coffee and lunch were delicious, and it was wonderful to support a business that gives jobs to women!

I Love Hue is amazing! I did the night street food and Hue city tours. Minh, Aby, and Kieu were the guides for the street food tour, and they were a riot. It was clear they were good friends, and they teased each other mercilessly. In addition to providing laughs, they also described the components of all our dishes and how to eat them. All the food was delicious, but the banh khot and bun bo were the standouts for me. Minh was my driver, and she carefully navigated the streets of Hue. I never had any concern about my safety. I booked the street food tour just a few hours before it was scheduled to start. Ms. Lien, the founder of I Love Hue, responded almost immediately on Facebook Messenger. She was very warm, and I was impressed by her organizational skills.
I was lucky enough to have a one-on-one Hue city tour with Aby. She was informative during our tour of the village of Thuy Chanh and the rice museum. The Khai Dinh tomb was also beautiful. We also visited the Tu Hieu Pagoda, where I got to learn more about Buddhism. It was wonderful to learn about the importance of Buddhism in Aby’s own life. We ended the day with a vegan lunch at a lovely garden restaurant. I was skeptical about the idea of a vegan meal, but the food was flavorful and filling. The spring rolls were the crispiest I’ve ever had.
The team at I Love Hue is incredible: they’re young, creative, and highly motivated. As a solo female traveler, it was great to meet hilarious and vibrant women. They are also focused on the community – about 20% of I Love Hue’s profits support NGOs.
It was a privilege to meet the I Love Hue team. I was so impressed that I booked two other tours with I Love Hoi An, Ms. Lien’s tour group in Hoi An. Thank you to Ms. Lien, Minh, Aby, Kieu, and the rest of the I Love Hue team. I wish you all the best as you continue to grow!

Energetic, fun and friendly local team of young lady bikers led by Ms Lien. Very helpful and able to customize, allowing you to get to places without GPS help. I even went up to the top of Vong Canh Hill to have a panoramic view of Perfume River, as well as the 21m Lady Buddha @ Huong Ty, both seem to be off the usual tourist’s routes. I had the countryside, city and food tours with Aby, Thu & Lien. They are all careful riders and good sense of humor while remaining professional about their jobs. This is a convenient way if you are traveling alone and do not want to be herd around in tour groups, especially for the ladies who may not be comfortable going alone with male bike rider. And the food tour was just great, when I also met up with other travelers.

So I did the City Tour with the lovely ladies of I Love Hue Tour and it was fantastic.

For each tour member there was one ladybiker/guide (mine was the lovely Na); very knowledgeable with good English skills; good/save driving skills; very interesting stops which are not on every tours list; always good insights and anecdotes; smalltalk; overall very very friendly and enthusiastic guides.

Since I was only slightly more than one day in Hue I had to pick one tour and I am happy that I went with I Love Hue Tour – will book them again in case I’ll ever revisit Hue or they make there dreams of expanding the business true and our paths will cross again.

Cheers and thanks again for the tour

I am terribly late in writing this review, but better late than never…

Lien, the wonderful and enthusiastic young woman behind I Love Hue Tours, was a really knowledgeable and fun guide for the three tours my partner and I took in December last year, and the ladies she employs, her classmates from university, were all really friendly and awesome company. Communication through email and facebook was almost instant, and she was really accommodating when we decided to take another one of her tours on our last day in Hue at the very last minute.

The three tours we went on were the Hue Local Food by Night, Hue City, and Hue Historical tours and I would recommend all three of them. I had been to quite a few of the places before on a previous trip to Vietnam with a largish (30 people) group tour, but my partner hadn’t, and it was definitely more enjoyable this time around. The tours are either private or really small and cost about the same as the tours you can book through your hotel. All the food we got to try on the tours was amazing and she even took us to a great vegetarian restaurant for dinner on our last night in Hue.

The weather was absolutely terrible and it rained most of our time in Hue, but I can honestly say that, even though we got drenched while on the back of the bikes, we had an absolute blast in Hue and I look forward to the day we eventually go back and spend a few nights singing karaoke with Lien.

This tour company went above and beyond to accommodate me and my friends with an amazing tour as well as additional knowledge and recommendations about Hue that made our stay much more pleasant than what we would have accomplished on our own.The lovely tour guide Lien truly is the “Queen of Hue” she has so much knowledge about the sites we visited and her passion comes through in every aspect of the tour. From visiting all the historical sites to the hidden nooks and corners that were fascinating but would never have stumbled upon them without Lien. I can’t express how wonderful the memories we took from Hue are and thanks to the I Love Hue Tour I will always cherish the time I spent in Hue, Vietnam.

February 23, 2017

I came to Hue with my wife on our honeymoon and arranged this tour with Lien at the last minute. She, and the tour, were fantastic. Supremely well organised, very informative; a real taste of Hue (quite literally, given all the street food we ate.)

I cannot recommend this tour more highly. If you only do one thing in Hue, make it this tour. 10/10 would tour again.

February 23, 2017

I had a great time in Hue during 2 months for my internship. I did a Hue City Motorbike Tour from I Love Hue Tour. Lien is an amazing tour guide with full of knowledge she gave me all information about Hue. I can say that this is so special tour and I was visiting many sights of Hue as the tomb, the village and the pagodas. Motorbike is the best way to travel in my oppinion. As Lien said that she wants to make everyone love Hue as she does. She is a great person I have met in Hue. I said I love Hue all the time during the tour. This tour is very fun and wonderful experiences for me. I would like to recommend this tour to everyone.

February 23, 2017

Last month, I and my bf decided to have holiday together in Hue. We booked this motorbike tour with lady riders. It was an amazing day that we have had so far during our trip around Asia. We had chances to visit many sights of Hue as princess temple, pagoda, king’s tomb and the countryside. We were so happy with this tour and honestly I laughed a lot during the trip. My tour guide who is Lien was awesome. She is a young woman business who I admire a lot. I recommend this tour to everyone who want to discover the real life of Vietnam when you come to Hue. I Love Hue!!

February 23, 2017

I can’t say enough good things about Lien and this company. Lien really is the “Queen of Hue,” and she is one of the most inspiring young women I have ever come across. She is always smiling, has impeccable English, and she will welcome you with open arms. An added bonus: this company helps empower local women as drivers and guides. You won’t regret supporting this company!

February 23, 2017

This is by far the best tour we’ve been on in Vietnam! The girls were very friendly and knew so much about their beloved city of Hue! Would definitely recommend booking this tour

February 23, 2017

Lien is the coolest. She is an inspiration to all entrepreneurs. She is full of great information and has the most wonderful personality. The tour is absolutely fabulous. A combination of great sites and just having fun. I loved everything about it.

February 23, 2017

I highly recommend this tour company for everyone, and in particular solo female travelers. My experience with I Love Hue Tours made my visit truly unforgettable. I hope to visit Hue again sometime and reconnect with the wonderful ladies who make I Love Hue Tours possible.

February 23, 2017

Brilliant experience! Lien really knows her stuff, speaks English very well and has a smile on her face from the minute you meet her to the minute you finish! Definitely recommend.

February 20, 2017

This is the best way to get to know Hue and support local students.
The founder, Lien, speaks very good english and makes sure that you are well taken care of with her troop of female student guides. You get to see Hue from the perspective of a local – the real deal!

February 20, 2017

A wonderfull trip in hue
Perfect tour guide and organitation
I booked the seem day and i found the guide to waiting in hotel
I visit mosto important monument
Great time
Great lunch with us
Don t loose this great opportunity

February 20, 2017

We did a full day tour today with Lien and three of her student guides. We had a great day and learned a lot about Hue and the local culture and customs. The tombs and temples we visited can be seen on many tours but learning about them from uni students on the back of a scooter was awesome. Their modern perspective, laid back attitudes and friendly approach appealed to us along with two sons 14 and 16. Well done Lien, keep up the good work. We love Hue!

Hello wanderlust, my name is Kelvin and I come from the Canada. Now I’m extremely excited to share with all of you all my experiences when I spent 2 days in Hue city on my 20th birthday. I have to say that this trip is the biggest present for me cuz everything is so great, the motorbike tour, the food, the weather and especially my lovely and stunning friend Lien from I love hue tour service. I love hue tour had prepare everything for me so things just keep go on and I’m free to explore the truly beauty of this imperial city.
At first, I decided to spend my birthday in Hue because my motherland is Vietnam, and I have never been to Vietnam before so I just made up my mind, packed my clothes and headed to Hue with my friend. And, guess what, the trip is really amazing. We spent one day on a motorbike to explore the beauty of many acient stombs, temples and pagodas, then we went further to langco beach and hoian town to carry on our next stage of the trip- the food tour. A lot of traditional food, bun, cake, banhxeo ( I guess so), all of them are extremely delicious and much more tasty than my mother cook. 😀
At the end of the trip, when I had to say goodbye to Lien and I love hue tour, I felt so sad because there are still a lot of thing I want to know more about my homeland.
I will come back, wait for me Hue 😀

February 20, 2017

We were lucky 🙂 to find many excellent recommendations for the “I Love Hue” Tour on Tripadvisor while we were figuring out what to do best in Hue within one single day. We decided spontaneously for having a ride with the cool “Lady Riders” and did not regret it. We even loved it. With just a few hours in advance (booking on the evening before) we were picked up on time in the morning by our Lady Riders Lien (better know as “Queen of Hue”) and Vy to join a ride as passenger on their motorbikes. Crusin’ around with them we started our funny tour in a local coffee shop having a special “Hue Coffee” together. Definitely not “same same, but different”, because the “Hue Coffee” is flavoured with salt cream and is more or less cold, but very tasty. While chatting with our guides they explained us the tour and told us about the life in Hue. The “Queen of Hue” kept us laughing all the day with her nice, relaxed and opened manner and provided us an unforgettable sightseeing tour. At each stop we had a brief historical summary (in very good english) and enough time to explore the attractions without hurry. We visited various tombs, pagodas, … and learned much about history and people. After having delicious lunch together we continued cruisin’ to the countryside for visiting an old bridge. At the end of the tour we were dropped off at the entrance of the citadel to visit this sight, too. All in all it was a really great event und funny day trip, with Hue’s best tourist guides who gave us the opportunity to get the maximum out of Hue within one day.
Many many thanks, you made our day! Keep on riding, Ladies!

February 20, 2017

we absolutely loved the city tour in Hue we booked. It was a wonderful day with Lien and her girls and we’ve seen a lot of special places around Hue.
Also we felt all the time really save and had a lot of fun during the tour!!!

February 20, 2017

We had a great Day with our guide Lien.
She is very kind person and knows a lot of the historical facts.
There are great places to see. We would join again

February 20, 2017

On a recommendation from a friend, my wife and I decided to visit Hue before spending a few days in Denang and Hoi An on holiday. Boy am I glad we came, and even more happy we booked the city group all day tour.

Our guide picked us up at our hotel right on time and even waited patiently for my wife as she was running a few minutes late.

We were then immediately whisked away to multiple kings tombs, parks, the citadel, imperial city, pagoda, and a small fishing village market. The sites were gorgeous but the stories our guide shared with us immediately made all of the locations come to life.

I had no expectations and figured the tour would help familiarize my wife and I with hue. Little did I know we would probably be receiving one of the best tours we’ve ever had with amazing lunch included, great narration, and keen insights by our guide of Hue, the Vietnamese people and culture. Our guide fielded questions on any topics from weddings to food to even some of my curiosities on the Vietnam/American war.

I can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re in Hue, you shouldn’t just do this tour, you MUST do this tour. If there were 6 stars if give it to the company immediately. Made our trip!

February 20, 2017

What a fun day. Out on the motorbikes, seeing some of the main tourist highlights, with some lovely friendly Vietnamese girls. We are all new to bikes but felt totally comfortable and safe after 5 minutes. Really interesting to hear about their own lives as well as the history of the country. Thanks girls – this was a great day out. Highly recommended.

February 20, 2017

The day tour of Hue sites, including imperial tombs and Buddhist pagodas, was made personal, interesting and fun with Liens energy, enthusiasm and excellent English skills. Lien shared a lot of information about the history of the sites, but she also helped me understand the vibrant youth culture in Vietnam.. I really wanted to do the Charity or street food tours but I ran out of time. Lien in passionate, organized, and helpful. Her tour was one of my highlights of my two month stay in Vietnam.

February 20, 2017

Lien is a dynamic young entrepreneurial woman who is combining her love of Hue, her passion to show tourists the best places & her desire to help local social causes. My 8 year old & I ended up taking fab 3 tours with these fun ladies: Street Food by Night on mopeds, Historical Countryside, Pagoda & Tombs on mopeds & Citadel walking tour. All were fun & informative. Would definitely recommend.

February 20, 2017

This was fantastic tour with Lien and her ladies. I felt very safe being on the back of their scooter and it is a great way of getting around Hue. We did the city tour and we went to the country side to visit Thanh Thuy Village to see what rural life is like. Then we visited the Tomb of Minh Mang and Tomb of Khai Dinh. Lien is very knowledgable about the history of Hue and her love for the city is obvious from her enthusiasm while she chatted to us. Definitely not a boring tour!!

February 20, 2017

We had a fantastic tour of Hue with Miss Lien. Paul and I had a wonderful tour with someone who you could tell loved their city and love to show it to others. She was knowledgable, loved to talk and was also funny. Although it was a hot afternoon she made it an enjoyable one. Don’t miss out on this tour!

February 18, 2017

We did the motorbike tour and it was lots of fun. We saw local and historical places. We learned so much new things that day from the best tour guide. She speaks english fluently and is a kind en very outgoing vietnamese girl. Its like your friend is giving you a tour instead of a tour guide. I really recommend it!

February 18, 2017

Would recommend this tour to anyone considering visiting Hue, it’s a beautiful city full of lovely people and the trip will really highlight all of this.
Lien is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met and the amount of effort she puts in to the business is incredible!

February 18, 2017

This tour was the most memorable thing from my time in Hue.

Our group was lucky enough to have Lien (the company owner) as our Leader/Host and we fell in love with her straight away. Her charisma and enthusiasm towards this beautiful city was what made the tour even more memorable. We loved hearing all about the interesting facts and history of Hue and Lien was more than willing to answer any of our questions that we had.

Would recommend this tour to anyone! A great value for the price AND you get a free t-shirt! What more could you want?!

February 14, 2017

Hop on a scooter and enjoy the night cruise in Hue. You’ll be guided through the local street food places and introduced to local night life as well 🙂 Your driver ( Biker lady) knows proper english and can tell you about the city while you cruise in the traffic of Hue.

February 14, 2017

We we told about this tour by friends in England and followed their recommendation. We were not disappointed. We were two families nine in total including several teenagers and my 10 yr old daughter. My initial concerns about her on a motorbike were quickly dispelled by the wonderful group of young lady riders that arrived promptly at our hotel. They were immediately friendly, organised and well prepared handing over helmets, initial instructions and off we went. We went straight to a local cafe to meet Lien and sample the local salty coffee…introduce ourselves properly, given our regulation I love Hue T-shirts and a drink and then we were off.
This quite simply was a very well organised day including local historic sites, pagodas, tombs, local villages, rice fields and a rice museum and included a wonderful local vegetarian lunch. The riders were informative and very proud of their wonderful city and country and this came across in abundance. They drove with great care and at no point did we feel pressurised to move onto the next site but were able to take our time.
We not only saw so much in one day but really felt we made a new group of friends, had lots of laughs, learnt a lot and can only recommend this tour. Do not hestitate just book it, you won’t regret it. This was one of the highlights of our visit to Vietnam.

February 14, 2017

I have decided to share with all you the best tour travel experience I had. Yesterday, I and my friends joined Hue Countryside Tour with Lien and her young ladies. Although it was raining really heavily yesterday, we all felt extremely exicited because they led us a full of surprises about Hue city. They drive us crazy loving Hue!

February 14, 2017

I’m a first time solo traveller, and wanted to see the city. I was going to just do everything without a tour, but I’m glad I booked this – My rider (Aby) was friendly and personable, and she showed me places I’d never have thought to look at.
I expected a tour group, but it was just the rider and I – we really got to know each other, and I think making friends with locals is half the fun of travelling.
Solo or group, you can’t go wrong.

February 14, 2017

We started our tour from our guest house, the girls picked us up and took us round the city starting with a salty caramel coffee – delicious ? Markets, temples, water park and the Hope centre where we shown how to make rings out of wire – harder than it sounds!! A delicious vegan lunch – came back full of spirits, it rained the whole day, raincoats provided.

Highly recommend the food tour, if you only have time for one thing – this is it – authentic, delicious, incredible flavours, unique locations ? the bonus of I ❤️️ Hue is the interaction with the girls, they are great fun, passionate and knowledgeable about their city and it gives you an insite into the soul of Hue a very happy, friendly and welcoming place that spills over with kindness thank you for the most memorable day … oh and we finished with karaoke ?… now … they really are the professionals ❤️❤️❤️

February 14, 2017

We visited Hue as an unexpected stop on our cruise and booked this tour last minute for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids (age 6 and 1). The guide meet us at the port and was willing to share knowledge from the start. She took us to all the tourist sights and a local lunch. She was even flexible to take us to the grocery store because I needed diapers before getting back on the boat.
